Guitar Lessons
Beginner to intermediate lessons available. Flat picking, finger picking and rythym only. Country, classic rock, Contemporary Christian. Lessons given in my home studio.
Terms and fees: Lessons are $80 per month for one 30 minute session per week. Some months you get 4 lessons and some months you get 5, depending upon how your day falls in the month. Payment is due at the first lesson of each month. No refunds for missed lessons. A $20 credit will be given for each lesson canceled by me. Credits will reduce your next months tuition.
What you need:
(1) Bring a cassette tape (I have some) with you and your session can be recorded in my studio for your practice time at home.
(2) You also will need a real, playable guitar for practice time at home. You can't learn to play on a toy! If you don't have a real guitar, I can supply you with a very nice, new guitar for very little investment. Sometimes I even have some used ones available too! I can supply you with a guitar to play during your sessions for the first few weeks, but you need to have one at home to practice on and to get use to it's "feel". Every instrument will "feel" a little different so you need to get familiar with your own.
(3) A serious, positive attitude! You MUST practice! You won't get any better or build up your strength and finger toughness without practice! I will be able to tell if you are practicing from week to week. If I see that you're not practicing and not taking this serious, and after numerous times of me encouraging you to do so, I will cancel your sessions. I won't just take your money for nothing. Don't waste yours and my time, and your money.
